The god Saraswati

Brahma's wife, she is the goddess of knowledge and the arts. It has four arms. In one hand she holds a book of sacred writings, in another a rosary. With her two other hands she plays a string instrument (vina), a symbol of art. His right leg is on the left.

Dressed soberly in a white sari, it is accompanied by a peacock or a swan, symbols of purity and beauty. She is sometimes represented sitting on a lotus.
