The Eiffel tower on advertising

The Eiffel Tower and advertising is a long story! From the earliest times of commercials it has served as a support for different brands. The best known is probably Citroen who made it, many people have seen images of the tower flanked by the letters C Illuminated in the middle of the night. You should know that this advertising remained in place from 1925 to 1936. Otherwise other brands have taken advantage of the place: Air France, Alain Afflelou, the Samaritan have all used the Eiffel Tower in their ads. Luxury brands too, perfumes, clothes. But here is a little more understandable because France and luxury are inseparable, and as the luxury market is international, we must show customers that the vaunted products come from France. What could symbolize France, if not the Eiffel Tower?
